This pendant is made from Hetian Mountain Jade (Shan Liao) , a natural white nephrite jade from the Kunlun Mountains of Xinjiang’s Hetian region. Valued for its warm, oily texture and soft, even grain, mountain jade is the classic material of Chinese scholar’s treasures.
